Dr. Dustin Coles
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia while my father attended dental school, so I guess you could say I came by the profession naturally! My family moved to Utah following graduation, where I was raised. I always had the desire to be a dentist like my father from as early as I can remember.

I went to Brigham Young University for my undergraduate education. I was a Portuguese major in school. I know that sounds funny, but I lived in Brazil for two years and wanted to learn more about the language and culture. It was a change from the dental school requirements I was also completing at the time. During my time at BYU, I also met and married my wife, Ursula.

I went to dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree while at Creighton, and was voted a member of OKU National Dental Honor Society. I worked hard and because of this graduated at the top of my dental school class with Summa Cum Laude honors.  

Following dental school, I continued my education by completing a two-year orthodontic residency at Indiana University, in Indianapolis. Here I received my orthodontic certificate and master's degree in dental sciences.  

Even though my formal education is completed, I think it is important to continue to learn and increase my knowledge in the profession. After graduation, I completed a voluntary testing process to become Board Certified. I am currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 50% of the orthodontic profession. I also hold membership in many state and national organizations. Each year I attend numerous continuing education courses to stay current on the latest technologies available. 

Orthodontics has become my passion, and I love to go to work each day! It is so fulfilling to go to work and create spectacular smiles each day! I know that you will enjoy visiting our state-of-the-art office and friendly staff to work on your spectacular smile!

My wife and I have three children, Jaden, Maila and Makoa. We decided to settle in Arizona to be closer to family and because of the sunshine. I love to spend time with them and travel as a family. Our favorite trip is to visit my wife’s family in Hawaii. We love the beach and the island food!

When not working, I am a sports enthusiast. I am an avid golfer, play basketball, waterski, snowboard and wakeboard.
