Our staff has over 38 years of combined experience, and strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is certified in radiology (x-rays) and treats patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars, such as the Damon Forum and The American Association of Orthodontics Annual Sessions.
Julie Turley: Treatment Coordinator
I have lived in Maricopa for 21 years, but I was born in Idaho. I enjoy reading, working out and spending time with my family. After high school I attended the American Institute for Dental Assisting. I worked for a general dentist for about 1 ½ years until I got braces myself and enjoyed them so much! I decided that orthodontics was the field for me and I have been working for Dr. Coles ever since. I love working with such a great team and being able transform out patients smiles is so rewarding!
Brenda Smith:
I was born and raised in Brazil, Indiana. I moved to Arizona 4 years ago with my husband Kurt and daughter Jadyn and we love it here. I have worked in the dental field for nine years as an assistant and currently work as Dr. Coles’ Treatment Coordinator. I really love the challenge of my job! In my spare time I enjoy running, yoga, getting involved with the community and watching Discovery channel. I consider myself lucky to be able to say that I love my job and the people I work with!
Makayla Jacobs:
I was born in Omaha, Nebraska but I have lived in Arizona almost all of my life. I have been fascinated with orthodontics since I had braces when I was young and I loved having them! That’s how I knew that I wanted to be an orthodontic assistant and I have been assisting for 5 years now. My kids are my dog Marley and my two tortoises! I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, speed skating and just about anything outdoors. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work for Dr. Coles and I truly enjoy working with all of these wonderful girls!
Kim Hickle: Office Manager
I was born and raised in Casa Grande, Arizona and I have really enjoyed watching this small town grow. My husband Rick and I have been married over 20 years and have two children, Shea & Chelsee,a beautiful new granddaughter named Kennedy and two ‘grand-dogs’ Psycho & Dahlia. I have worked in the orthodontic field for 17 years and absolutely love working with Dr. Coles and the entire team at our office, we are all truly dedicated to our patients and I could not imagine a more rewarding work environment. In my spare time I enjoy working out, running 1/2 marathons, shopping ‘of course’, and traveling with our friends and family to new and exciting places.
